Log into your account
In the left menu, click Manage, then click Integrations.
From the integrations list, click BirdSend.
In the Integration Name field, enter a name for your BirdSend connection (e.g. BirdSend App Integration).
In a separate browser tab, log into your BirdSend account at BirdSend.
Go to Settings > Integrations > BirdSend Apps and click on "New App"
Enter your desired App name (e.g. KP Integration)
Enter your custom description
Enter Website URL: https://www.domain.com
For Callback URL you MUST enter: https://app.domain.com/manage/integrations
Click on "Create App"
Click on the "Permissions" tab and select "Write" then click on "Update Permissions"
Click on the "Access Token" tab and copy the following details from the BirdSend app page:
Client ID
Client Secret
Back in our app, paste the copied values into the corresponding BirdSend integration fields:
Paste the Client ID into the BirdSend Client ID field.
Paste the Client Secret into the BirdSend Client Secret field.
Click on "Connect"
After clicking on the Connect button, you will be taken to the BirdSend login page if you are not logged in already. If so please log in into your account.
On the appearing screen, you must click on "Authorize"
After returning to our app, you will see the message below:
Following the steps above your BirdSend application will be fully integrated. Please note, BirdSend does not uses email list, so you can select your Sequence to add the contact to in your account. Make sure that you have active Sequences, or you can create a new one from here: https://app.birdsend.co/user/sequences
Please make sure to set the Sequence to Live and publish it, so it does not stay in Draft mode. You do not have to set up an email sequence in order to use it, but your contact will be tagged automatically with the selected sequence.
Troubleshooting
Make sure that Callback URL in your BirdSend app settings is set to https://app.domain.com/manage/integrations
Make sure you have set the access type to "Write" and saved the change in your BirdSend application's "Permissions" tab
Make sure you have Live sequences inside BirdSend which you can select inside our app to send the lead to
